All are FDA and EU compliant and are safe to use on children’s sensitive skin.

Snazaroo

Snazaroo is the first choice of many parents, children, and professional face painters and is The world’s favourite face and body paint. Snazaroo face paints are specially formulated to be gentle on the skin and are fragrance free.

All Snazaroo face paints have been reviewed by an independent professor of dermatology and professional toxicologists.

Snazaroo face paints are manufactured using only approved ingredients fully compliant with EU & FDA toy and cosmetic regulation and are non-toxic.

Grimas Professional

Grimas Professional makeup products are specially formulated for sensitive skin.

Because people can be allergic to almost anything, we can’t say you will not have a reaction to Grimas Makeup.

We can say that Grimas Professional is the highest quality professional makeup with none of the most common allergy-causing ingredients. This means it is much less likely to cause a reaction.

Perfumes are the commonest cause of contact allergy from cosmetics. Grimas Professional makeup is unperfumed.

Allergy Advice

Have you had an allergic reaction to makeup in the past?

People who suffer from flexural eczema, asthma, or hay fever are more likely to have an irritant or allergic reaction to makeup. You may have had an allergic reaction to makeup in the past.  If you think you may be at risk of reacting, you can do a simple test before using your makeup for the first time.

Put a small amount of the makeup in a place where the skin is thinnest. Two good places for this are in the crook of your elbow and behind your ear. Leave the makeup in place as long as possible up to 24 hours.  If you experience any tingling or stinging, remove the makeup and return any unused product you have bought from us for a refund.

Avoid skin damage when removing your makeup

The removal method depends on the makeup but the things to avoid are:

  • Mechanical damage to the skin by heavy rubbing
  • Opening the pores with water that is too hot
  • Loss of natural oils by using unsuitable solvents e.g. alcohol-based wipes

Removing water-based makeup like Grimas Professional face paints and cake makeup

Rinse away the colour with tepid – not hot – water. Remove any residue by washing with a mild , pH-balanced detergent skin cleanser.  Either use a skin wash containing moisturiser or use a separate moisturiser.
